Netlify is hiring freelance frontend developers to work on customer-facing projects across our ecosystem — from partner agency builds on Netlify's platform to internal marketing site work on netlify.com itself.
Projects range from greenfield Jamstack builds to performance audits and optimisation sprints on existing Next.js or Astro sites. You'll work directly with Netlify's developer experience and marketing engineering teams, with flexibility to work async across time zones.
Typical project work:
- High-performance marketing and docs sites built on Next.js or Astro - Core Web Vitals audits and remediation (LCP, INP, CLS) - CSS architecture reviews and design token migration - Accessibility remediations against WCAG 2.1 AA - Component library contributions in React + TypeScript
